Nutritional Information

Our cakes, cookies and muffins are baked with almond flour, which is made from finely grated blanched almonds. Almond flour is delicious and nutritious!

Almonds are cholesterol free, low in saturated fat, low in carbohydrates, high in dietary fiber, high in antioxidant Vitamin E, high in Calcium, Riboflavin, Copper, Zinc and Magnesium.

It is the lowest carb and tastiest flour you can use in baking! At THE BEST EVER LOW CARB CAKES! we only use the finest ingredients, which are safe for celiacs and diabetics. Everything we make is not only sugar-free, but gluten-free too!

Carbohydrate Content

We use the Atkins approach to determine our carb content, which means we subtract fiber grams to determine the net carb content. Half of the total carbs from almonds are fiber.

For example:

Mini Muffins 2 Total Carbs
-1 Fiber Carb

=1 Net Carb
Mini Loaves 9 Total Carbs
-4.5 Fiber Carbs

=4.5 Net Carbs

For Insulin Dependent Diabetics...

We only use Splenda brand sweetener in our baking, however we purchase sugar free baking chocolate that is sweetened with a sugar alcohol. Atkins dieters normally subtract out all of these carbs, but the most current diabetic information from nutritionists recommends that you add back half the sugar alcohol carbs when counting for insulin purposes. Therefore, add about 3 carbs per serving for anything chocolate.

Note: We do everything by hand, so some muffins and loaves may have more chocolate chips than others.
